• idk, the ~ means that i’m not serious about it or that it doesn’t necessarily mean what it means. almost like a sarcasm/judge-y font. it’s just a condensed version of ~*~*~*~, so “wow, moffat likes to use ~*~*~mystery~*~*~ in his plots” translates to “wow, moffat likes to use ~mystery in his plots,” in which ~mystery translates to mindfuckery.
