This attitude right here is why New Who fans annoy the shit out of me.  They know NOTHING.  Daleks are just as much a part of Doctor Who as the TARDIS and The Master.  If you don’t like the Daleks, don’t watch.  If you’re going to watch, shut the fuck up and watch.  Holy christ, the younger generation always has to bitch about SOMETHING.

I completely understand your point of view, however unnecessarily rude and incredibly pretentious it is.

However, the point is that the Daleks were supposed to have been COMPLETELY WIPED OUT with the Time War. That was the whole point of the Time War, in fact: to stop the Daleks.

I mean, I know that happened after ClassicWho ended and maybe you haven’t watched NewWho because you are a ~purist and the gods smile down upon you and angels weep while they sing you praises for being such a special snowflake that you’ve seen ALL of ClassicWho, but from a LOGICAL PLOT-RELATED POV, Daleks shouldn’t be as prevalent in the series as they are.

Because they’re supposed to be DEAD.

(That’s why Nine freaked the fuck out in Dalek, series 1, remember? Because they were supposed to all be gone?)

And for the record: I love the Daleks. They’re my favourite enemy. But that doesn’t mean they should appear every single season. For a supposedly extinct species, they are quite lively.
