Also, Rose was very much a pet - she always followed his every order (never wandered off ever), never questioned a bad decision (No! Cause I won’t let you do this… It’s not the one pointing the gun at me!), and did absolutely nothing of import (like save the day and often Doctor’s life in Rose, Parting of the Ways, Tooth and Claw, Satan’s Pit, Fear Her, and Journey’s End). Just a pet the Doctor kept for entertainment value (he probably taught her tricks and instead of treats, he gave her drugs).

Furthermore, you’re totally right. Rose Tyler is basic, static, one-dimensional even. It’s not like she’s:

• undergone
• any
• character
• development
• at all

And finally, look at his face after she kissed him:

Clearly, he’s disgusted. He’s saying “still got it” as in he still has the urge to throw up because ew roes kisses.
