 #god I was just thinking about one of my headcanons for Ten that this goes so well with #he’s tactile #we know this #but even the simplest of touches means so much to him #it’s not just holding hands #it’s not just hugging after a job well done #it’s connection to another person through touch and it means EVERYTHING #he needs that connection #that feeling to get by #like think about it #he comes from a very upright society so he’s never had his fill of cuddles and held hands and hugs #I mean I don’t know about you guys but I don’t see the Time Lords as big cuddlers#and on top of that he was on his own for so long before he met Rose #and his Ninth regeneration was so raw at first#but over time he started to reach out more #holding hands while running and big joyous hugs for saying tricky alien names #and then he regenerated and he had all this youth and energy and joy #and most of all he had Rose #and it didn’t take her long to figure out that he was even more tactile in this body than in the last #nights like this one alone in the TARDIS together are perfect examples of that #her hand in his hair or a kiss to his chest or a squeeze of his arm#little things that do so much more for him than she could ever imagine
